SAVOY MACTAN HOTEL NEWTOWN

Located in Megaworld’s first township outside Metro Manila, the Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown was illuminated to provide a welcoming and enticing facade to travelers and passersby alike. Part of the process was to identify and highlight the key feature of the facade which in this case were the visually- striking fins. Linear uplights were placed at every floor to light up the fins above, providing a nice view that can be appreciated from afar, along the Main Boulevard, and even at the pool deck.
Towards the interiors, layered and efficient lighting was thoroughly applied while keeping the ceiling clutter-free. Lastly, at the Pool deck & bar, a more subdued and dramatic lighting approach was done to create a welcome change in ambience, with minimal lights placed only where it is needed.
